Pharma Fusion Pharmacy is looking for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our multi-disciplinary team. In this role you'll spend most of your day accurately filling prescriptions and supporting our pharmacists, while helping us hold a high standard of care for every patient we serve. If you're organized, detail-driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving specialty pharmacy, we'd like to hear from you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Accurately fill prescriptions for our patients, meeting every safety and quality standard.
Answer phones and keep communication moving quickly between patients and healthcare providers.
Perform dispensing procedures in line with our workflow requirements.
Help maintain the Asembia platform alongside the rest of the pharmacy team.
Manage and monitor PDC (Prescription Drug Coverage) and MPR (Medication Possession Ratio) processes.
Keep spreadsheets and DataScan entries accurate and current, and update the intervention log regularly.
Complete the Specialty Dashboard by the 5th of every month.
Monitor medication outdates and handle timely removal and replacement.
Pull and order supplies, and assist with drug ordering to keep inventory where it needs to be.
Work within company policy and all federal, state, and local regulations, including URAC and ACHC standards of care.
Keep your skills current through educational services and training.
Build good relationships with patients and the local community, advocate for patients with special needs, and attend community and national events as needed.
Pitch in on shared duties, including the weekly trash rotation, the fax machine, and the monthly patient-education topic rotation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Active Pharmacy Technician licensure (required).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
Working knowledge of the laws that apply to pharmacy operations.
Attention to detail, objectivity, and professionalism.
Clear verbal communication and the ability to work as part of a medical team.
Steady judgment and composure under pressure.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
Use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Close, distance, and peripheral vision, with the ability to adjust focus.
