Pharmacy Technician If working in a fast-paced environment is your passion and you are a team player, review the responsibilities below: Assist the pharmacists in filling prescription items, as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy Review prescription labels, pull medications and fill according to guidelines Works according to the facility delivery schedule, and prioritize Contribute to the efficient workflow of the pharmacy by maintaining a high productivity level and an error-free work product. Communicates with supervisors and teammates consistently and appropriately as necessary Updates NDC numbers in software system as necessary Understands and monitors the system dashboard. Prepares bulk medications as per orders Maintains the orderliness of the pharmacy by keeping pharmacy countertops and drug bay shelves tidy and organized. Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk as part of the position and bend to access medications from shelving Maintain the proper licenses to work as a Pharmacy Technician Enter, access, and verify the accuracy of data in the pharmacy system. Reliability and flexibility with scheduling are required. Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Pharmacy Technician

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Previous Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred Basic computer skills and knowledge. Mathematical skills Strong attention to detail Medical terminology Education and/or

Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent Prefer experience in Retail / Long Term Care Pharmacy but will train new technicians Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required. Be familiar with brand/generic names and general uses for medications Familiarity with federal and State laws as they pertain to the pharmacy.

Full-time Pay:

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
