Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician to support a healthcare facility in McPherson, Kansas for a 13-week assignment. The position offers the chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in an inpatient setting, primarily working the 1st shift from Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing drug information, and delivering pharmaceutical services to clinical staff Prepare sterile IV admixtures, including some sterile compounding duties Receive, store, and manage incoming medication and supply deliveries Process prescriptions and medication orders accurately and prepare medications for administration
Qualifications:
Current, clear, and active pharmacy technician license in Kansas Minimum of 1 year recent experience in IV compounding; some sterile compounding experience is essential Familiarity with Meditech pharmacy software preferred to manage medication orders efficiently
Schedule & Location:
13-week contract assignment Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 1st shift

McPherson, Kansas This role is well suited for candidates comfortable with traveling or relocating temporarily for the assignment.
