The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders, managing inventory, light bookkeeping, providing excellent customer service and other routine aspects of day to day pharmacy practice. Requirements:

Must be detail oriented and possess great organizational skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, Doctors and insurance companies. Must be knowledgeable and compliant with HIPAA policies and state and federal laws Must be a team player and work efficiently with other staff members Must be dependable and dedicated

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications
• Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care

Experience:

• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with common medications
• Proficient in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team to provide safe and effective medication management for patients.
