Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity offers a Pharmacy Technician role in a retail pharmacy setting located in Allegan, MI. It is a contract-to-hire position with a structured yet dynamic schedule designed to support work-life balance and professional growth.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts Rotating start times between 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM Pharmacy closes at 6:00 PM on Fridays No weekend shifts initially; weekend hours may be introduced later

Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacy regulations Provide excellent customer service in a retail environment Operate the Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescriptions and inventory Maintain proper documentation and compliance with Michigan pharmacy laws Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety

Qualifications:

Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician license Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in retail settings Familiarity with Pioneer RX is highly desirable Strong communication skills and attention to detail This role is ideal for a dedicated pharmacy technician seeking stability with an eventual opportunity to transition to a direct-hire position.
