LTC, LLC
is a closed-door pharmacy servicing the Long-Term Care Communities. We make the difference in the lives of the staff and administrators of LTC facilities, and most importantly to the residents/patients that we serve, by staying true to our mission. We are currently seeking qualified pharmacy technicians for the following:
Position Summary :
As a Data Entry Technician, your responsibilities revolve around entry of patient prescriptions into our computer system. You must be detailed oriented to keep prescription information accurate for patient safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be dependable, have strong organizational skills, be adaptive, and have the ability to work well with a team as well as possess the tolerance for working in a high-pressure environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. You will also work the closing shift (12p-8pm) one to two nights a week. Please keep in mind that all new orders or admissions that the pharmacy receives before 8pm must be correctly processed by the data entry team before you are excused for the night by the staff pharmacist. This schedule also includes the weekend rotation. Once you are appropriately trained you will be included in this rotation and work every third weekend (work one weekend, off two weekends). Your Saturday shift is 9am to 6pm, Sunday is 9am to 5pm. Keep in mind that all new orders and admissions that the pharmacy receives before 6pm Saturday and 5pm Sunday must be correctly processed by the data entry team before you are excused by the staff pharmacist. You will have one day off each week when you work the weekend.
Essential duties include the following:
Triage orders, interprets and processes data into pharmacy computer system with a high degree of accuracy while meeting productivity standards of the pharmacy. Ensure orders are processed according to pharmacy cutoff times and within expected delivery windows. Performs drug calculations including basic mathematical calculations Provides excellent customer service to both external and internal customers and provide empathetic care. May assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Performs other duties as assigned, which can include assisting in any area of the pharmacy as directed by management. Maintains confidence and protects sensitive information for our patients. Works closely with others within the team Reports to Data Entry supervisor, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Pharmacy or healthcare related experience, 1 year or more, a plus Basic understanding of brand/generics, medical terminology, and computers Detail oriented; great communication skills, and a positive attitude. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities Ability to form professional relationships with customers Teamwork mindset with strong interpersonal skills Missouri Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to obtain license upon hire.
