Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Overview Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician IV
- Specialist assists in the preparation and distribution of medications using appropriate pharmaceutical technique, computer programs and various technical automation equipment.
Pharmacy Technician IV has specialized experience in pharmacy working with non-sterile or sterile preparations and contributes to the effective operation of the department. - Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Contributes to the effective operation of the department.
- Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures. Additional Information

- HS diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years experience in a pharmacy setting as a pharmacy technician. Experience in both hospital and retail setting is a plus.

- MO • One of the following: Certified Pharmacy Technician•National, ExCPT Pharmacy Technician required upon hire • Employees must obtain Registered Pharmacy Technician•MO or equivalent within 90 days •

The pay range for this job begins at $21.93/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
