This role involves preparing sterile compounded infusion therapies and supporting clinical pharmacy services under pharmacist supervision, adhering to state regulations and industry standards.

PM Responsibilities:

Prepare sterile IV/infused medications in compliance with

USP 797, USP

800, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations Manage call and shipment schedules to maintain patient care continuity Communicate and coordinate clinical information with pharmacy, nursing, and reimbursement teams Enter patient and prescription data accurately into pharmacy software (CareTend) Clean and maintain pharmacy clean room according to policy and regulations Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs Keep up to date with continuing education and complete annual re-credentialing Receive and store medications and supplies from vendors Pick and package supplies and medications for patient home delivery Perform inventory counts and assist with formulary management Obtain additional technical licensure or registration as required

Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid NY pharmacy technician license and PTCB certification in good standing Minimum of 1 year infusion pharmacy experience preferred; candidates with IV hospital tech experience will be considered Strong understanding of sterile compounding standards and pharmacy regulations Familiarity with CareTend software system is a plus This role offers a stable work schedule with weekdays off and the chance to work in a professional, clinical pharmacy environment focused on patient care.
