Pharmacy Technician - with Local Delivery Duties Join a locally owned independent community pharmacy where you can make a real difference for patients. We're looking for a dependable, friendly Pharmacy Technician who enjoys working with people and is also comfortable providing local medication deliveries. You'll be part of a small, supportive team where your work is noticed and appreciated. Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist with accurately preparing, filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy software Process insurance claims, troubleshoot rejections, and communicate with insurance plans when needed Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and by phone Assist customers with prescription pickups, refill requests, and general pharmacy questions Maintain prescription inventory, order medications, check deliveries, and monitor stock levels Help keep the pharmacy organized, clean, and compliant with applicable policies and regulations Prepare prescriptions for delivery and maintain accurate delivery records Provide local medication delivery to patients using assigned delivery routes Handle and transport medications safely, securely, and confidentially Follow all pharmacy procedures and HIPAA requirements while making deliveries Assist with other pharmacy operations as needed in a small-team environment

Qualifications Required:

Strong attention to detail and commitment to prescription accuracy Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable, organized, and able to work independently Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Reliable transportation Ability to safely handle medications and protect patient confidentiality

Preferred:

Pay:
