SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for assisting the pharmacists in processing, preparing and dispensing prescription medications. Provide extraordinary customer service to all our patients via face to face and phone interactions. Professionally interact and communicate with Medical and Patient teams throughout the institution. Organize and manage stock to ensure smooth and efficient daily activities. Responsible for assisting the pharmacists in processing, preparing and dispensing prescription medications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
(S) : High School Diploma or equivalent required. Registration as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy required Six (6) months of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy with an educational background in medical terminology and computer use required OR graduate of a formalized Pharmacy Technician Training Program with a minimum of 120 hours in an externship program required. Ability to obtain Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB, NHA, or equivalent) within six (6) months required.
