Free drinks & snacks Free Curology/Agency Subscription Position Overview The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment is responsible for ensuring all compounded medication is accurately and expeditiously processed and shipped directly to patients after the medication units have been quality checked and initiated by the Fulfillment Director (Pharmacist). The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the fulfillment area and equipment. The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment, is supervised by the Technician Manager, Fulfillment. Essential Functions Complies with all applicable federal and state pharmacy laws, including but not limited to:

USP 800, USP

795, and Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy requirements. Performs all duties of pharmacy technician, as needed. Performs duties in compliance with Personalized Skin Solutions, Inc. standard operating procedures and best practices, under the direct supervision of the Fulfillment Director (Pharmacist). Generates/or prints labels and shipping documents subject to pharmacist supervision and checking in compliance with Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy law. Labels prescription containers under the direct supervision of the Technician Manager, Fulfillment Under the direct supervision of the Technician Manager, Fulfillment ensures medication is accurately packaged prior to shipping. Ensures medication is delivered to the address indicated by the patient. Stocks/restocks inventory. Calculates sizes and quantities of boxes needed for the day and pulls them from the storage room. Monitors inventory status and keep the inventory system updated. Fills in logs and reports, accurately and completely. Receives incoming drug and supply shipments. Meets deadlines. Cleans and disinfects the equipment and facility in accordance with company directives. Maintains confidentiality of protected patient health information. Completes special projects assigned by the Technician Manager, Fulfillment Performs other duties, responsibilities and activities, as needed. Work Requirements The Pharmacy Technician, Fulfillment must be able to work in an industrial environment, standing and walking around as much as 90% of the day. Must be able to safely and effectively wear a respirator, for a full day, as necessary. May need to lift as much as 40 lbs. Must be able to pass drug test, prior to hire, as well as any subsequent random drug tests. Must be able to work weekends Scheduled shift length is 10 hours per shift Ability to work other shifts as business needs dictate Typing and computer usage throughout the day. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks from multiple sources. Ability to grasp concepts and re-apply that information in similar situations. Interacts politely and effectively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and others. Limited exposure to potentially hazardous substances. Must have good attendance and be consistently punctual.

Qualifications and Skills Minimum Requirements Required Licensure:

The pharmacy technician must be registered, must be positioned to obtain Pennsylvania pharmacy technician licensure, and be in good standing with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy, when the Board of Pharmacy initiates pharmacy technician licensure requirements. Must be able to pass a background check. High school diploma, or equivalent. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks from multiple sources. Ability to grasp concepts and re-apply that information in similar situations. Strong sense of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information. Must exhibit sense of urgency and initiative while maintaining attention to detail, and meeting fulfillment deadlines. Interact politely and effectively with pharmacy team members, prescribing practitioners, and patients. Preferred Requirements Pharmacy Technician Certification, a plus. Ability to use a forklift; forklift certification, a plus. Experience in a mail order pharmacy preferred but not required. Experience in nonsterile compounding pharmacy preferred, but not required.
