Key Responsibilities:

Compound, prepare, and process prescriptions in line with established policies and state regulations Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and supplies accurately and efficiently Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosage forms Properly label, package, and prepare medications for distribution Identify, document, and report any medication-related incidents or discrepancies Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy work areas and laminar flow hoods Inspect pharmacy equipment, report malfunctions, and help ensure regulatory compliance Maintain pharmacy temperature logs and cleaning records for quality assurance

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred Active Pharmacy Technician license valid in Texas PTCB certification required IV Certification is a must-have for this role
