Key Responsibilities:

Accurately compound, prepare, and process prescription medications according to company policies, state regulations, and safety standards. Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies efficiently. Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify medication dosages. Label and package medications precisely to ensure patient safety. Participate actively in identifying and reporting medication-related incidents to maintain high safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of pharmacy work surfaces and equipment, including laminar flow hoods. Inspect pharmacy equipment regularly, reporting malfunctions or defects promptly. Keep detailed and accurate documentation of temperature logs, cleaning activities, and maintenance to ensure compliance. Support overall pharmacy organization and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Active Pharmacy Technician license in Texas. Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). IV Certification preferred.
