Duties Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and explaining procedures clearly and empathetically Perform phlebotomy to collect blood samples following proper protocols for safety and accuracy Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as commercial driver exams, EKGs, spirometry, vision screenings, prior authorizations and referrals. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical records, and ICD coding Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, managing patient intake processes, and maintaining organized medical documentation Conduct basic physiology assessments and assist with patient education on medications and treatment plans Ensure compliance with infection control standards and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment Qualifications Proven experience in medical assisting with a focus on primary care. Certified phlebotomist with strong skills in blood collection techniques and specimen processing Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and ICD coding practices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management tools Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for emergency response readiness Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient service with compassionate communication skills Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in fast-paced outpatient or inpatient Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care through professionalism, technical expertise, and compassionate service.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
