Obtains needed supplies, verifies patient Identification, prepares skin site and performs venipunctures according to established aseptic techniques. Labels specimen and transport it to Laboratory for analysis.
Requirements:
Education:
HS Diploma or GED equivalent. Post HS education through accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
Licensure:
PBT (ASCP) Certification or equivalent preferred
Experience:
At least one year of experience preferred.
