Job Description

EliteBio Hormone & Aesthetic Solutions is seeking a dependable and experienced Medical Assistant / Certified Phlebotomist to join our growing practice in Angier, North Carolina. This is a hands-on position in a small hormone, wellness, and aesthetic clinic. The right person will be comfortable performing blood draws, assisting with patient care, supporting aesthetic procedures, communicating with patients, and helping keep the clinic organized and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and can work independently without needing constant direction. Our ideal candidate is warm and professional with patients, highly organized, dependable, and willing to learn our hormone therapy, pellet, and aesthetic workflows. Previous hormone therapy, pellet, wellness, dermatology, or medical-aesthetic experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person who already has strong phlebotomy skills, good judgment, and medical-office experience. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood draws Room patients and obtain vital signs Review and update patient information Prepare examination and procedure rooms Assist the medical provider during patient visits and procedures Assist with hormone pellet procedures Support aesthetic treatments and procedures Take accurate before-and-after photographs Apply topical numbing medication under provider direction Clean, disinfect, stock, and turn over treatment rooms Document information accurately in the electronic health record Use Optimanta and Evexias practice-management systems Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in and checkout Answer phones and respond to patient messages professionally Route refill requests and clinical questions to the provider Follow up on assigned patient and administrative tasks Collect payments and maintain accurate records Monitor inventory and order medical, office, and aesthetic supplies Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized clinic environment Complete additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Current phlebotomy certification Strong and reliable venipuncture skills Previous experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, or similar healthcare setting Comfortable working directly with patients Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage clinical and administrative responsibilities Ability to work independently and identify tasks that need attention Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new medical software Dependable attendance and punctuality Professional handling of confidential and sensitive patient information Preferred Qualifications Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience At least one year of outpatient medical-office experience Current CPR or BLS certification Experience with hormone replacement therapy Experience assisting with pellet procedures Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, women's health, men's health, wellness, or primary care Experience with Optimanta, Evexias, or a similar electronic health record system Experience with scheduling, patient messaging, inventory, and medical-office administration Who Will Be Successful in This Role This position may be a good fit for someone who: Notices what needs to be done and takes action Works well independently while remaining part of a small team Creates a warm and comfortable experience for patients Communicates clearly and professionally Keeps track of details and completes tasks without repeated reminders Remains calm and organized during busy periods Is comfortable discussing sensitive health topics professionally Enjoys learning about hormone health, wellness, and aesthetics Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, patient-ready clinic Work Environment EliteBio is a small, privately owned hormone and aesthetic practice. Our typical daily volume is approximately six to eight patients. This position offers predictable weekday hours, direct interaction with the medical provider, and the opportunity to learn specialized hormone and aesthetic services. Compensation $18-$20 per hour , based on relevant experience, phlebotomy ability, certifications, and overall qualifications. Application Instructions Please submit your resume through Indeed.
