/ About the Role We are seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and student-focused Phlebotomy Instructor to provide comprehensive instruction in the art and science of phlebotomy. This role is responsible for preparing aspiring phlebotomists with the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to succeed in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate will cultivate a positive, structured, and safe learning environment while delivering high-quality lecture and hands-on clinical instruction. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and adherence to educational and regulatory standards.

  • 10:00PM What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive instruction in phlebotomy, including lecture and clinical drawing sessions Deliver curriculum content clearly and effectively to ensure student understanding and competency Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment Supervise students during clinical practice to ensure compliance with safety standards Encourage and support students throughout the program to promote successful completion Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Manage onsite inventory and supplies Complete required classroom documentation in accordance with company policies Maintain productive attendance and timeliness for all scheduled classes Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Manage onsite inventory and supplies, including receiving shipments to personal address, maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring precise stock levels to support classroom and clinical training activities.
Utilize inventory management system (Agiliron) to track supply usage, process inventory adjustments, and complete required documentation in accordance with company policies. Maintain organized inventory storage areas, monitor supply needs, and collaborate with inventory managers and fellow instructors to support efficient classroom operations. Ensure classroom and inventory areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standards. State Qualifications A certificate or diploma program instructor whose teaching assignment is in the occupational specialty must have a high school diploma or GED and other formal training (certification can be substituted in lieu of postsecondary education) have demonstrated competency as a wage earner, for at least 3 years in the last 5 years, in the related technical field. Required Qualifications Current Phlebotomy Certification High school diploma or equivalent Relevant occupational work experience in phlebotomy Strong communication and instructional skills Reliable transportation A secure address to receive inventory shipments Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Proficiency with technology, including iPads, mirror casting, and basic troubleshooting Professional demeanor and effective classroom management skills Additional Preferred Qualifications EKG knowledge and work experience Prior teaching or training experience Documents Required Upon Application Medical Technical Certification (Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy or CNA or Medical Laboratory Technician) High School completion Current resume (reflecting three years of phlebotomy experience, and start/end dates)
