We have an in-house lab and do all patient testing on-site. Men want fast appointments and efficient care, and we deliver on both. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy, along with experience in various medical specialties such as internal medicine, dermatology, and emergency medicine. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
Hours:
Monday 8:45am-5PM, Tuesday 7:55am-4pm, Wednesday 8:55am-5pm, Thursday 7:55am-4pm Responsibilities Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures. perform gainswave (shockwave therapy) procedure on patients. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. Record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately. Administer medications as directed by physicians or nursing staff. Educate patients on treatment plans and medication instructions. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Manage patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals as needed. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and various medical systems. Maintain laboratory operations and equipment in accordance with COLA accreditation standards, CLIA regulations, and applicable state and federal requirements. Perform routine and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment and accurately document maintenance activities. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment in accordance with established SOPs and regulatory requirements. Follow laboratory quality control, quality assurance, and safety procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results. Experience Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential. Experience in Phlebotomy, Urology or hospital medicine is preferred. Familiarity with men's heath care needs is a plus. Previous experience in mens health clinic is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Previous laboratory experience recommended, with experience working in a CLIA-regulated laboratory preferred. Experience maintaining laboratory equipment, records, and documentation in accordance with
COLA/CLIA
