Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy assessments, evaluations, and treatments to patients in accordance with their individual care plans. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to patients' needs and goals. Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Communicate regularly with the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated care and patient success. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements and facility policies. Assist with patient education on injury prevention and wellness strategies. Provide compassionate care in a family-focused, supportive environment that puts the patient's well-being first. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
Current, valid Alabama Physical Therapist (PT) license. Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Previous experience in physical therapy is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
