  • Creciendo Juntos is seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapists (PTs) to join our Early Intervention team on California's Central Coast.

We provide quality early intervention services to infants and toddlers, ages 0-3 , with developmental delays and disabilities. Services are family-centered, play-based, and provided within each child's natural environment, including the child's home and community. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other members of the child's interdisciplinary team to promote functional movement, mobility, participation, and overall development. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify delays or concerns related to gross motor development, mobility, strength, balance, coordination, positioning, and functional movement. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, the child's developmental needs, and family priorities. Provide developmentally appropriate physical therapy services to infants and toddlers through play-based activities within the child's natural environment. Address functional motor skills , including sitting, crawling, standing, walking, transitions, balance, coordination, strength, and mobility. Educate and coach parents and caregivers on strategies and activities that can be incorporated into the child's daily routines to support continued development. Monitor and document progress toward established goals and modify interventions as appropriate based on the child's needs and progress. Complete required documentation , including session notes, evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and other required clinical documentation accurately and within established timelines. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team , including Child Development Specialists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, service coordinators, and other professionals involved in the child's care. Participate in team meetings and care coordination as needed to promote continuity of services and support the child's developmental goals. Provide recommendations regarding positioning, mobility, adaptive equipment, or other supports when appropriate and within the Physical Therapist's scope of practice. Maintain professional communication with families, supervisors, and members of the child's care team. Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable professional and regulatory requirements. Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available Monday through Friday Client hours available between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM Physical Therapists have flexibility to coordinate their weekly schedules directly with the families assigned to their caseload. Travel is required to provide services in clients' homes and other natural environments. QualificationsRequired Current and active California Physical Therapist license Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with pediatric populations Knowledge of child development and pediatric physical therapy principles Ability to work collaboratively with infants, toddlers, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Preferred Previous experience working with children ages 0-3 Previous Early Intervention experience Experience providing services in home or community-based settings Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus Transportation & Pre-Employment Requirements Candidates must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel within an approximately 20-mile coverage area of their assigned home office or service location. If driving is required for the position, employees must maintain a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and proof of automobile insurance. Candidates must successfully complete all applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, physical examination, and other requirements applicable to the position. Compensation $55.00
