1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting, requiring 1+ years of outpatient orthopedic experience and an active PT license. Details Outpatient clinic setting specializing in orthopedics Patient population includes conditions such as ankle sprains, cervicalgia, degenerative disc/joint disease, frozen shoulder, low back pain, osteoarthritis, sciatica, and post-op cervical, shoulder, and spinal surgery patients Treatment techniques include gait training, extremity and spinal mobilization, myofascial release, McKenzie method, lumbar traction, taping, and biofeedback Also supports functional capacity examinations, prosthetic training, and postpartum care Day shift schedule, typically 5x8-hour shifts between 7:00-4:00 or 8:00-5:00 Uses WebPT for charting Requires floating between two clinic locations approximately 9.4 miles apart, with a typical split of 2 days at one site and 3 days at the other, depending on clinic needs 13-week contract length Requirements Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required, with strong outpatient orthopedic experience Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Active PT license required; CA state license required, though pending applications will be accepted with proof of application License required if applicable Additional Information Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions using specialized manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques Open to first-time travelers and new graduates Local candidates accepted
