Position Overview Active Method Physical Therapy Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Gaithersburg, Maryland. About the Organization Active Method Physical Therapy Group is a highly regarded rehabilitation center specializing in tailored orthopedic and neurological therapy. Located in the heart of Gaithersburg, we pride ourselves on creating a positive and collaborative atmosphere where both our patients and staff flourish. We employ advanced therapeutic techniques and methodologies to ensure our patients receive the best care possible while promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement amongst our team. Work Environment You will work onsite at our modern rehabilitation center, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and the latest therapeutic equipment. Our center's layout encourages collaboration among staff, promoting an integrated approach to patient care. The established schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration, with a patient volume aimed at maintaining high standards of care (approximately 2 patients per hour). Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' needs, utilizing a variety of functional tests and evaluations. Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring alignment with each patient's goals and rehabilitation timeline. Implement therapeutic interventions, which may include manual therapy techniques, exercise therapy, and neurological rehabilitation methods. Regularly monitor and document patient outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery and functional performance. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as appropriate to ensure streamlined communication and continuity in patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, self-care strategies, and achievable rehabilitation goals to foster engagement and adherence. Patient Population / Client Focus At Active Method, you will work predominantly with outpatient clients facing a variety of orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and neurological disorders. You will support patients of all ages, from children to seniors, facilitating their recovery and enhancing their quality of life through customized treatment strategies and compassionate care. Qualifications A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent is required. An active Physical Therapist license in Maryland is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of relevant outpatient physical therapy experience is preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation protocols will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive annual salary of
USD 90,000
