Physical Therapist I (Orthopedic)
Shift:
Full-Time
  • 40 hours per week
  • 8:00 a.m.
  • 5:00 p.
m. The Physical Therapist I evaluates, treats, and manages patients with physical limitations and medical conditions under the supervision of clinical leadership. Using evidence-based techniques, the PT I prescribes and implements treatment plans to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential. The PT I collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, and aligns their practice with the Hospital's goals and objectives. Conduct objective evaluations to assess patients' physical and medical conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to optimize patient function. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve patient-centered goals and outcomes. Actively participate in service, department, and hospital improvement projects to enhance patient care. Uphold and operationalize the goals and objectives of the Hospital within the care setting.
Work Experience:
Orthopedic experience required Successful completion of required clinical internships during academic training.
Education and Qualifications:
Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure by the State of Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Current AHA Health Care Provider CPR certification.
