Work Environment This full-time position is primarily onsite, allowing you to work directly in patients' homes across Princeton. Our home care setting requires a high level of adaptability and communication, as you'll be engaging with patients in their personal environments. Your typical work hours will be Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a consistent schedule that allows for work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine individual physical therapy needs based on comprehensive assessments, including range of motion and functional abilities. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, restoring function, and alleviating pain. Administer therapeutic exercises, and advanced manual therapy techniques, and utilize modalities such as electrotherapy to facilitate recovery. Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary in response to patient feedback and clinical observations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to create a holistic and cohesive care plan for each patient. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and overall health maintenance to promote independence in daily activities. Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education to remain current with best practices in physical therapy and relevant healthcare advancements. Patient Population / Client Focus Our home care services primarily focus on geriatric patients who may have experienced injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions affecting their mobility and functional capacity. You will work with a diverse group of clients, including elderly individuals recovering from joint replacements, stroke survivors requiring mobility training, and patients rehabilitating from various physical disabilities. Understanding the unique challenges faced by our patients is crucial to providing effective care. Qualifications A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey. Demonstrated ability to develop effective treatment plans and work with a variety of patient populations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient interaction. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment. Preferred Experience At least one year of prior clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably within a skilled nursing facility or home care setting. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from
