Our orthopedic outpatient practice is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our patients, primarily focusing on those with musculoskeletal injuries. We foster a collaborative environment where three experienced providers - two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA) - work together to ensure effective patient outcomes. Work Environment As a Physical Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will be working onsite in our modern rehabilitation facility, equipped with cutting-edge tools and equipment to support your treatment plans. The facility invites a seamless interaction between practitioners, enabling collaborative care and interdisciplinary consultations. The role involves a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a work-life balance and allowing for meaningful patient interactions without the stress of weekend shifts. Key Responsibilities Assess and identify patients' rehabilitation goals, creating individualized treatment plans that align with their needs. Provide therapeutic interventions with a focus on orthopedic outpatient care, seeing 2-3 patients per hour to help them achieve optimal function. Utilize a range of treatment techniques to maximize patient mobility while aiming to reduce reliance on medications and surgery. Implement fitness and wellness programs that are tailored to enhance patients' overall health and prevent future injuries. Conduct regular evaluations to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly, ensuring effective communication with patients about their recovery journey. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient services and outcomes, utilizing EMR software such as WebPT for enhanced patient management. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, fostering an integrated approach to patient wellness. Inspire and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation to achieve and maintain optimal physical performance. Patient Population / Client Focus Gotham Enterprises Ltd caters to a diverse patient population primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our dedicated approach to localized care empowers patients by focusing on personalized rehabilitation plans that not only address physical recovery but also promote long-term health and functional independence. Qualifications A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Valid New York State Physical Therapist License, with no board actions or disciplinary actions. Strong manual therapy and exercise skills, demonstrating the ability to apply various treatment techniques effectively. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar software. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing personalized care plans for diverse patient needs. Experience in sports rehabilitation or similar settings is highly advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
