Job Description

Embrace an opportunity to support student growth across multiple schools as a Physical Therapist serving K-12 classrooms. This contract-based assignment offers a dynamic split between onsite and virtual (VOCO) work, providing a diverse and fulfilling professional experience in a thriving educational setting.

Key Requirements:

Current and active Physical Therapist (PT) license in South Carolina. Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably K-12. Ability to supervise a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for virtual service provision. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the flexibility to manage onsite services and remote paperwork/supervision. Comfortable adapting to both in-person educational environments and virtual service delivery platforms. Enthusiasm for multidisciplinary collaboration and fostering student success.

What You'll Do:

Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students in grades K-12 within school settings. Split schedule between 37.5 hours per week onsite and an additional 20 hours/week allocated for VOCO-related supervision and documentation. Supervise and support a licensed PTA to ensure quality and compliance during virtual therapy delivery. Evaluate student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with educators and families for optimal outcomes. Maintain adherence to all state and district regulatory requirements for school-based physical therapy services. Provide creative solutions and adapt therapeutic interventions to varying learning needs and environments.
