Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life. Your expertise will support patients across various settings, including inpatient hospital units, outpatient clinics, home health environments, and community care programs. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical therapy needs, utilizing your strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy. Develop and execute individualized care plans that align with patient goals and medical requirements. Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics treatments, and geriatrics-focused exercises. Assist patients with discharge planning by coordinating follow-up care and providing education on home exercises and community resources. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, inpatient, outpatient, or home health settings to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to healthcare regulations and medical terminology standards. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, mobility techniques, and rehabilitation strategies to promote long-term wellness. Requirements Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience in physiotherapy across diverse environments such as hospital inpatient units, outpatient clinics, or home health services. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques including trigger point therapy. Experience with discharge planning, care plan development, and working within EMR systems for documentation purposes. Familiarity with pediatric care (pediatrics), geriatrics, orthopedics, and community-based care programs. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. $47.00 - $52.00 per hour
