Work Environment This role will be onsite within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, providing a supportive and resourceful environment for both staff and patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of patients to evaluate their physical conditions and therapy needs, ensuring tailored treatment strategies are implemented. Develop and execute personalized treatment plans focused on enhancing strength, balance, and mobility in patients. Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Provide education to patients and their caregivers on mobility enhancement techniques, fall prevention strategies, and appropriate home exercise programs. Consistently monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes. Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients, maintaining a focus on interdisciplinary communication. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain accuracy in clinical documentation and patient records. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patients primarily include seniors and individuals recovering from surgery, injury, or managing chronic conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, requiring empathy, a strong understanding of geriatric care, and the ability to tailor interventions specific to age-related challenges and multiple comorbidities. Qualifications Active Physical Therapist license in Texas. Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate/Master's Degree from an accredited institution. A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in Skilled Nursing Facilities or rehabilitative care is preferred. Proficiency and experience in therapeutic exercises and mobility training. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations and the multidisciplinary team. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous. Preferred Experience Experience working with geriatric populations in a rehab or SNF environment. Background in developing and implementing fall prevention programs. Hands-on experience with advanced therapeutic techniques and modalities. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
