Job Description

Position Overview Body Balance Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Fort Worth, Texas. This full-time position will require a passion for helping patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life. You will be pivotal in guiding individuals through the rehabilitation process, employing your expertise in orthopedic care to deliver personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient. About the Organization Body Balance Physical Therapy operates a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility covering 5,000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and orthopedic care. Our practice is owned by licensed physical therapists who emphasize a patient-centric approach to healing, predominantly working with clients who hold private medical insurance. Our team consists of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, all dedicated to fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere for patient recovery. Work Environment Located in Fort Worth, Texas, our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and a spacious environment designed to enhance patient interaction and engagement. The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent routine that supports both professional and personal work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify each patient's goals and physical limitations, formulating targeted treatment plans based on clinical findings. Manage an individual patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour while maintaining high standards of care and personalized attention. Provide evidence-based orthopedic treatments to improve patients' physical function, mobility, and overall health outcomes. Develop and customize rehabilitation programs that may include therapeutic exercises, functional training, and patient education on injury prevention and management. Utilize manual therapy techniques and specialized modalities, ensuring each treatment is tailored to the patient's specific needs. Monitor patient progress closely, adapting treatment plans as necessary to respond to evolving recovery trajectories. Document all patient activities and clinical interventions in accordance with legal and organizational policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Foster a motivating environment that encourages patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation and adopt healthier lifestyles. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to promote a comprehensive approach to patient care. Participate in ongoing professional development and team discussions to enhance treatment methodologies and improve patient results. Patient Population / Client Focus This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with individuals facing challenges in movement and function, helping them regain independence and improve their physical capabilities. Our practice emphasizes preventive care and education, encouraging patients to take an active role in their health management. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred. A valid Texas license to practice as a Physical Therapist. No history of disciplinary action against the professional license, maintaining a reputation for ethical practice. Strong competency in manual therapy techniques and an ability to develop impactful exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs. Prior experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems; familiarity with WebPT is a plus. Preferred Experience A minimum of one year's experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Expertise in utilizing innovative rehabilitation techniques that lead to enhanced patient outcomes. A track record of successful patient interactions and rehabilitation achievements that demonstrate effective care and recovery strategies. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary ranging from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, supplemented with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education allowances.
