Duties Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and preparation for therapy sessions Support patient transfer methods using proper manual handling techniques to ensure safety and comfort Help maintain a clean, organized treatment area and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use Provide support during therapy exercises by demonstrating movements or assisting with mobility aids Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising therapist promptly Maintain patient confidentiality at all times in accordance with privacy regulations Support administrative tasks such as documenting patient information, updating records, and scheduling appointments Requirements Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation practices Demonstrated patient service skills with excellent client communication abilities Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during patient transfers or equipment setup Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) or willingness to obtain upon hire Familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, and outpatient therapy practices is preferred Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality Previous experience practicing in a physical therapy or physiotherapy role is highly desirable We are dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that values your growth and well-being as you help others regain their independence.
