Job Description

Physical Therapy Aide Join our dynamic Orthopaedic team as a Physical Therapy Aide, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Physical Therapists in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you'll assist with patient exercises, maintain a clean and sanitized environment, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our department.
Responsibilities:
Patient Assistance:
Support Physical Therapists by guiding and assisting patients with prescribed exercises during therapy sessions.
Department Maintenance:
Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of the therapy department to create a safe and welcoming environment for both patients and staff.
Laundry Management:
Handle the laundering of linens and equipment to maintain a hygienic and organized workspace.
Patient Assignment Tracking:
Keep accurate records and track patient assignments to facilitate seamless coordination within the rehabilitation team.
Positive Patient Interaction:
Cultivate a positive and supportive atmosphere, making patients feel comfortable and secure during their rehabilitation sessions.
Qualifications:
Positive Attitude:
Possess a cheerful and optimistic demeanor to create a positive experience for patients.
Empathy:
Demonstrate the ability to connect with patients, making them feel at ease and fostering a sense of trust.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage and keep track of patient assignments, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Adaptability:
Flexibility in handling various tasks within the therapy department, adapting to the dynamic needs of the rehabilitation setting. Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Experience:
While not required, familiarity with EMR systems is advantageous in streamlining administrative tasks.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
