Key responsibilities include:

Providing direct physical therapy services based on the plan of care established by a physical therapist and physician. Assessing patient conditions, delivering skilled treatments, and ensuring patient safety. Educating patients and caregivers on the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices. Communicating regularly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care. Documenting patient progress, observations, and treatment details accurately and timely. Assisting in discharge planning and providing appropriate instructions for ongoing care. Adhering to ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and complying with professional guidelines.

Qualifications include:

Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA. Valid CPR certification.

Preferred skills:

Experience in home health therapy and OASIS documentation.
