Laguna Niguel, CA Job Details Per diem $39 - $42 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant Full Job Description Parentis Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered rehabilitation services in home , outpatient, assisted living, independent living, board and care, and other approved community-based settings. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA helps patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, independence, and overall quality of life. Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and in accordance with the established plan of care. Implement treatment activities such as therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, transfer training, neuromuscular reeducation, caregiver education, and home exercise programs. Support patients in improving functional mobility, strength, endurance, safety awareness, and independence. Communicate patient progress, barriers, safety concerns, and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist and care team. Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational, regulatory, payer, and professional standards. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable privacy requirements. Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program or equivalent program recognized under applicable regulations. Current and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of California. Current CPR/BLS certification. Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred. Home health, outpatient, geriatric, community-based, or rehabilitation experience preferred. Ability to meet background screening, employment eligibility, licensure, certification, credentialing, and professional liability insurance requirements.
