This exciting position offers the opportunity to travel to various inpatient and outpatient facilities, skilled nursing homes, and home health environments, providing essential care to a broad patient population. You will work closely with licensed physical therapists and healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans, promote recovery, and enhance patient well-being. This paid position is ideal for motivated professionals eager to expand their clinical experience while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Implement physical therapy treatments including manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) management, ensuring compliance with medical documentation requirements. Support discharge planning by preparing reports on patient progress and recommending ongoing care strategies for post-treatment follow-up. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology. Proficiency in clinical assessment documentation and medical documentation practices. Skilled in manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy and physiotherapy treatment implementation. Experience operating medical equipment used in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility, or home health settings. Excellent caregiver communication skills coupled with client communication abilities to foster trust and understanding. Familiarity with outpatient and inpatient care environments, including acute care experience and skilled nursing facility experience. Ability to adapt quickly across different clinical settings while maintaining high standards of patient care.
