Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Lakewood Ranch, FL Permanent Direct Hire Position Join a dedicated outpatient rehab team in the beautiful community of Lakewood Ranch, Florida! We are currently hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to help deliver exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Non-Exempt Pay Range:
$25/hr $35/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus:
$1,000 total paid in $500 installments every 3 months

Role:
As a PTA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist patients in achieving their mobility and recovery goals. You ll help implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and encourage functional independence in a positive and motivating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist Instruct and assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities Monitor patient responses and report observations to the PT Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and progress Assist with discharge planning and patient education
Qualifications:
Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program Active Florida PTA license (or eligibility) Strong communication and organizational skills Team player with a passion for patient care
