Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Orthopedics Rehab Resolutions, Inc. Build Your Career in a Practice Where Clinical Excellence Matters Rehab Resolutions, Inc. is seeking a motivated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This is a full-time position beginning at 30 hours per week , offering an excellent opportunity for a PTA who wants to become an integral part of an established orthopedic rehabilitation team while continuing to develop clinically. We are an independently owned physical therapy practice committed to providing high-quality, individualized care to the people in our community. Our clinical environment values hands-on treatment, functional rehabilitation, teamwork, professional growth, and meaningful relationships with our patients. As an important member of the rehabilitation team, our PTAs work closely with Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation Technicians to carry out individualized Plans of Care and help patients progress toward meaningful functional goals. Less Time Documenting. More Time Focused on Patient Care. Rehab Resolutions provides our clinicians with AI-powered clinical documentation support designed to significantly reduce the administrative burden associated with daily documentation.
Our goal is simple:
allow our clinicians to spend less time completing documentation after a busy clinical day and more time focused on their patients, professional development, and lives outside of work. By incorporating AI-assisted documentation into our clinical workflow, we aim to support efficient, timely, and accurate documentation while reducing one of the administrative demands that can contribute to clinician burnout. What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Rehab Resolutions, you will provide skilled treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist and play an important role in helping patients achieve the functional goals established within their individualized Plans of Care.
You will:
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions according to established Plans of Care Implement therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation programs Provide appropriate manual therapy techniques within PTA scope of practice Utilize neuromuscular re-education, balance activities, gait training, therapeutic activities, and other appropriate interventions Progress exercises and treatment activities within the established Plan of Care and in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist Observe and assess patient response to treatment and communicate relevant findings to the supervising Physical Therapist Recognize changes in patient presentation or functional status and communicate them promptly Educate patients regarding exercises, home programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self-management strategies within the established Plan of Care Collaborate closely with Physical Therapists, Rehabilitation Technicians, and other members of the clinical team Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation with the support of our AI-powered documentation technology Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented clinical environment Specialized Treatment & Professional Development Opportunities At Rehab Resolutions, we have intentionally expanded beyond traditional outpatient rehabilitation by incorporating specialized treatment techniques and advanced rehabilitation technologies. Depending on experience, training, scope of practice, and interest, our PTAs may have opportunities to gain exposure to and participate in treatments involving: Mulligan Concept manual therapy principles AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill StemWave® acoustic wave therapy Advanced therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation Manual therapy techniques appropriate to PTA scope of practice Progressive orthopedic and sports rehabilitation programs Our practice also utilizes Active Release Techniques® (ART) as part of our specialized clinical services, giving team members exposure to an environment that values advanced manual therapy and continued clinical development. Candidates should demonstrate:
Experience or a strong interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation Proficiency in therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation Strong clinical observation and patient-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with supervising Physical Therapists and other members of the rehabilitation team A patient-centered approach to care Professionalism, reliability, and strong time-management skills An interest in developing orthopedic and manual therapy skills A desire to continue learning and growing clinically Experienced outpatient orthopedic PTAs are encouraged to apply. We also welcome motivated newer graduates who are eager to learn and develop within a supportive clinical environment.
Qualifications Required:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for Massachusetts licensure
Preferred:
Outpatient orthopedic experience CPR certification Experience with therapeutic exercise and functional rehabilitation Manual therapy experience within PTA scope of practice Interest in orthopedic, sports, and advanced rehabilitation techniques Compensation $32.00-$38.00 per hour , based on experience, qualifications, orthopedic rehabilitation experience, clinical skill set, and relevant advanced training. We recognize that clinicians bring different levels of experience and expertise to the position and will consider the overall clinical background of each candidate when determining compensation within the posted range.
