What You'll Do As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll play an important role in helping patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and independence so they can safely remain in their homes. Working under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you'll have the opportunity to manage your daily schedule while providing hands-on treatment that helps patients achieve meaningful goals. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatment visits in patient homes. Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist. Guide patients through strengthening exercises, mobility training, balance activities, and functional movement. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques. Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT. Document visits accurately and timely within the EMR. Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members. Qualifications Current Minnesota Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to work independently in a field-based environment. Strong patient communication and relationship-building skills. $70,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year
