PHSYICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT NEEDED- PEDS

About Kids in Motion Therapy (KIM) Kids in Motion (KIM) is a private pediatric medical practice located in the Grrensboro area of North Carolina providing Physical Therapy. We work with children and families ranging in ages from birth to 18 using a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach. Job Summary You will have the career-building and job satisfaction opportunity to treat and collaborate (co-treat) with experienced Occupational, Physical, and Speech-Language Pathology Therapists. You will have the opportunity to work in combination of the home environment as well as in our clinic facility located in Asheboro, North Carolina. You will provide therapy to children who need help with motor skill acquisition including balance, coordination, motor planning, strength, and sensory integration. Qualifications North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy Prior pediatric experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

Treat the pediatric population with a variety of ages and needs. Performs patient care by carrying out patient treatment plans as outlined by PT. Document and complete dynamic treatment plans and progress reports. Update patient progress to family Communicate with families, team, and lead therapist. Maintain continuing education requirements.
