Busy Chiropractic Office seeking a Professional, mature, caring, reliable, detail oriented, self-motivated individual with a good work ethic to join our team. Part time position available. Part time hours are approx. 20-27 hrs/wk. Clinic is open Mon - Fri and occasionally Saturdays. Pay starts at $16.00/hr. No experience necessary we will train the right candidate. College/High School students are encouraged to apply. Chiropractic Assistants at Colonias Chiropractic Center handle both business and patient care aspects of the office.
Duties range from:
assisting the doctors by applying therapeutic hot/cold packs to patients, filing, answering phones, to front desk and billing. Assistants perform a variety of tasks, often under pressure, and take direction from both the office manager and doctors. Chiropractic assistants are essential to the effective functioning of the office and assist with delivery of high quality patient care.
NOTE:
Due to the high quality of care we strive to deliver to our patients and HIPPA regulations, cell phone use is discouraged during work hours. Colonias Chiropractic Center is a fragrance free office to accommodate patients with sensitivities.
Applicant Must Have:
Professional appearance. Typing and Computer skills are required (you don't have to be a whiz, just competent) Solid math and critical thinking skills. Ability to alphabetize and file quickly and accurately. Ability to Communicate professionally and effectively over the phone and in person. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs repeatedly through out the day, (Chiropractic Assistant position is not primarily a desk position). Ability to Multi task. Must be able to work under pressure performing a variety of functions in a short period of time. Ability to move quickly from one part of the office to another, (Chiropractic Assistant position is not a desk position). Sensitivity and Maturity is a MUST. Must be able to maintain patient confidentiality.
