Northfield Village Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a compassionate full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant who is passionate about helping residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence. Working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide personalized, resident-centered care that supports meaningful progress and a higher quality of life. In-house rehabilitation program Competitive compensation and benefits Flexible scheduling Supportive, collaborative work environment Key Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist Implement individualized plans of care to reduce pain and improve function Monitor and document resident progress, including strength, mobility, and motor performance Communicate changes in resident condition to the Physical Therapist and care team Educate residents, families, and caregivers Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation Follow all professional, legal, and regulatory standards Qualifications Active Physical Therapist Assistant state license in good standing Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of the Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred Make a meaningful difference in residents' lives while growing your career with a supportive in-house rehabilitation team.
