Role Overview The PTA will carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist and help residents improve mobility, safety, and functional independence. Responsibilities Provide skilled therapy interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Assist with exercises, gait training, transfers, balance activities, and functional mobility. Observe resident response to treatment and report progress or concerns. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care teams. Qualifications Current PTA license or eligibility to practice in the applicable state. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred. Dependable, flexible, and resident-focused approach.
