Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care in outpatient environment. The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in implementing treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Provide hands-on care to patients using techniques such as trigger point therapy, physiotherapy, and other therapeutic modalities. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet rehabilitation goals. Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and home care strategies to facilitate recovery. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions. Uphold knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and relevant clinical practices in all interactions. Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or equivalent experience. Indirect license preferred but no required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices. Familiarity with outpatient clinic operations is a plus. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. Strong understanding of orthopedic conditions and rehabilitation techniques. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
