We are hiring for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at our Coupeville location!
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay Range:
Starting at $28/hour depending on experience
Schedule:

Duties Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized care plans for patients. Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to guide patients through exercises and therapeutic activities. Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, including medical terminology related to treatments administered. Ensure a clean and safe clinic environment by following established protocols and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to optimize patient outcomes, particularly in orthopedic cases. Requirements Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. A compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
