Job Description
Position Overview:
Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant (PA Only)Coverage Duration:
- Immediate; 6-month engagement with the possibility of extension.
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient clinic exclusively.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Daily Duties:
- Manage a diverse orthopedic patient population, including total joint cases. Responsibilities encompass initial consultations for new patients, treatment of fractures, post-operative follow-ups, and administration of injections.
Call Requirements:
- No on-call duties.
Patient Volume:
- Anticipated caseload of 19-21 patients daily.
Electronic Medical Record System:
- EPIC.
Credentialing Information:
Timeframe:
- Approximately 60-90 days from application submission.
Certifications Required:
- Board Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as recognized by the American Hospital Association.
Licensure:
- An active California medical license is mandatory.
