Maintain proficiency in airway management techniques, including intubation and ventilator support during complex procedures or critical care situations. Experience Proven experience as a General Surgeon within a hospital setting, demonstrating proficiency across diverse surgical disciplines. Critical care experience with exposure to ICU (Intensive Care Unit) environments is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with advanced surgical techniques such as catheterization procedures—including cardiac catheterization—and minimally invasive interventions like dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments is advantageous. Familiarity with hospital systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for medical records management is preferred. Experience in trauma centers—Level I or Level II—is essential for handling complex emergency cases efficiently. Knowledge of ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding systems (ICD-9/10) for accurate documentation and billing purposes. Background in acute pain management, pharmacology related to medication administration, and infection control protocols is required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams providing services such as hospice & palliative medicine, infectious disease care, urology, hematology, oncology, or pediatrics is beneficial.
