JN•122024-32484 Locums Hospitalist Physician Assistant in Lenoir, North Carolina•7 On 7 Off, Admissions Focus Focus on overnight adult admissions with a preferred 7-on, 7-off schedule, independent workflow, and virtual physician consultation available when needed. Highlights Admissions-focused nocturnist role Preferred 7-on, 7-off block schedule Approximately 5-7 admissions per night Three openings available Practice & Cases Adult inpatient hospitalist coverage with an open ICU Primary responsibility is admissions without cross-cover or rounding Work independently with virtual physician consultation available Central line and intubation skills needed for urgent situations Schedule 12-hour night shifts 7-on, 7-off blocks preferred No call outside scheduled shift responsibilities Requirements Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active North Carolina license required BLS and DEA required Logistics Lodging and mileage are provided Drive-in candidates only•airfare is not provided Connect with us to discuss how the 7-on, 7-off night schedule and admissions-focused workflow fit your availability.
