In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care, perform diagnostic evaluations, and manage treatment plans. Your skills in medical assessment, procedural techniques, and healthcare diagnosis will be essential in providing high-quality, compassionate care to a broad patient population. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history intake Assist in diagnostic evaluations by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests such as radiology and EKGs Prescribe medications within scope of practice, adhering to DEA regulations and CPT coding standards for billing purposes Perform clinical procedures including suturing, injection administration (e.g., botulinum toxin treatments), and aseptic techniques for various treatments Manage acute pain cases, airway management, ventilator support, and critical care interventions in hospital or emergency settings Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties such as infectious disease care, trauma centers (Level I & II experience), ICU, neonatal units, and outpatient clinics Document patient encounters accurately using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner while ensuring HIPAA compliance and proper medical records management Participate in clinical research or clinical trials to advance evidence-based practices and improve patient outcomes Engage in discharge planning, post-acute care coordination, and health coaching to support long-term patient wellness IV therapy and integrative Medicine clinic Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current certification from the NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant; eligible for licensure where applicable Demonstrated experience with EMR systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding and CPT coding for billing accuracy Prior hospital experience in emergency medicine, ICU, trauma centers (Level I & II), or inpatient settings highly preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology necessary for accurate client communication and diagnosis Experience performing procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, or radiation therapy is advantageous Critical care experience including ventilator management or neonatal ventilator familiarity is a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Ability to handle high-pressure situations involving acute care scenarios like airway management or infection control protocols Join us in delivering exceptional healthcare through teamwork, innovation, and compassion.
