Full Job Description Role:
Advanced Practice Provider II- ACLS, responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare in primary or specialty areas, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, and referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducts physical exams, manages patient care plans, documents health information accurately, and collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams. Provides patient education, arranges follow-up care, trains and supervises APP students, and serves as a clinical resource and role model. Participates in quality improvement, education activities, and community outreach to promote patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires at least 3 years of clinical experience as an APP, with a minimum of 5 years in healthcare. Must hold relevant licensure and certifications, including current BLS and ACLS. For Physician Assistants, current licensure and NCCPA certification are essential. For Nurse Practitioners, valid RN and APRN licenses from the Texas Board, along with active specialty certifications, are required. Demonstrates leadership, effective communication, and knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations. Must stay current with advancements in the field and adhere to all legal and organizational standards.
Additional Duties:
Maintains compliance with licensure and certification requirements, actively participates in professional development, contributes to departmental goals, and collaborates within multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality care delivery.
