requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 16, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 4.62 percent and will receive 8 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly: for at least 16 months. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period. California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks to fill Permanent/Full Time Physician and Surgeon, Correctional Facility (Internal Medicine/Family Practice) (P&S) positions in the Clinical Policy and Professional Workforce Services Unit. Under the general direction of the assigned Deputy Medical Executive, the Physician and Surgeon, Correctional Facility (Internal Medicine/Family Practice) (P&S) serves as a subject matter expert (SME) involved in development, implementation and integration of clinical systems that support medical providers and other clinicians in delivery of evidence-based and equitable services. The P&S will serve as lead medical SME in developing, evaluating, and improving population health programs including creation of clinical guidelines, training resources and decision support in the Electronic Health Care System (EHRS) and other clinical tools needed to facilitate implementation of high-quality and cost-effective practice recommendations and adherence to workflows and program requirements. The P&S will serve as a liaison between Medical Services and Quality Management staff to ensure alignment of clinical guidelines, decision support within the EHRS and other tools and training with strategic quality/performance objectives, dashboards and registries. The P&S will lead efforts to assess, streamline and integrate clinical processes and EHRS workflows. The P&S performs clinical case reviews as needed. Occasional travel to California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions statewide maybe required.
