Job Description

Position Overview Join a dedicated pediatric primary care team serving families in Coalinga and the surrounding Central Valley region. Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care to patients from birth through adolescence in a supportive, community-focused environment. Work alongside nurse practitioners and experienced staff committed to accessible, compassionate pediatric medicine.
The Role:
Deliver comprehensive pediatric primary care: well-child exams, sick visits, immunizations, sports physicals Provide same-day appointments and after-hours on-call coverage for continuity of care Conduct newborn assessments and provide guidance to new parents Engage in both telemedicine and in-person visits for flexible patient access Collaborate with nurse practitioners and interdisciplinary care team Participate in call rotation to support community pediatric needs Offer expectant parent interviews and prenatal guidance at no cost

Well-child exams and developmental assessments Acute illness and injury management Immunizations and preventive care Sports physicals and clearances Telemedicine and virtual consultations Newborn hospital visits and postpartum follow-up Community health education

Qualifications:
MD or DO degree Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics California medical license (or eligibility to obtain) Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate, patient-centered care Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in primary care pediatrics preferred
